During the process of processing products, electroplating and electrophoresis will use a rectifier to introduce current into the electroplating tank, plating the metal in the electroplating solution on the surface of the workpiece. Under the action of the current, the temperature of the electroplating solution will continuously rise. When the temperature is too high, it will cause defects in the coating layer of the product. At this time, a chiller is needed to control the temperature of the electroplating solution. There are also two cooling methods in the electroplating field: indirect cooling. Because the electroplating solution is generally corrosive in acidic or alkaline conditions, customers usually coil some corrosion-resistant titanium tubes in the electroplating tank, and then the cooling water is cooled once through the titanium tubes.
Direct cooling refers to making corrosion-resistant materials in the evaporator of the chiller, and directly passing the electroplating solution into the chiller to cool down before returning to the electroplating tank.
